DPIIT and Asian Development Bank Finalize National Tiered Grading Benchmarks for Agro-Cold Chains and Warehouses

The Logistics Division of the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), in coordination with the Asian Development Bank (ADB), has officially finalized a comprehensive framework for national tiered grading standards across agricultural cold chains and storage facilities. The policy update concludes extensive stakeholder consultations to institute rigid, data-backed logistics benchmarks designed to systematically eliminate ambient post-harvest wastage throughout India's critical cold-chain transport corridors.
