<p data-path-to-node="5">Strengthening its eastern seaboard maritime infrastructure, the Government of Andhra Pradesh has accorded administrative approval for <b data-path-to-node="5" data-index-in-node="153">₹1,638.52 crore</b> dedicated to land acquisition for the Phase-II expansion of three greenfield ports: <b data-path-to-node="5" data-index-in-node="253">Ramayapatnam</b>, <b data-path-to-node="5" data-index-in-node="267">Mulapeta</b>, and <b data-path-to-node="5" data-index-in-node="281">Machilipatnam</b>.</p><p data-path-to-node="6">Announced by Minister for Investments and Infrastructure B.C. Janardhan Reddy, the state will acquire <b data-path-to-node="6" data-index-in-node="102">6,248.54 acres</b> across the three coastal locations to build future cargo-handling capacity and accelerate port-led industrialization.</p><h3 data-path-to-node="8"><b data-path-to-node="8" data-index-in-node="0">Port-Wise Capital Allocations and Integrated Logistics Expansion</b></h3><p data-path-to-node="9">The approved sanction distributes funding and land acquisition across three key coastal maritime projects:</p><ul data-path-to-node="10"><li><p data-path-to-node="10,0,0"><b data-path-to-node="10,0,0" data-index-in-node="0">Ramayapatnam Port (Nellore District):</b> Received the largest financial outlay of <b data-path-to-node="10,0,0" data-index-in-node="79">₹851 crore</b> to acquire 2,924.45 acres for its second-phase development.</p></li><li><p data-path-to-node="10,1,0"><b data-path-to-node="10,1,0" data-index-in-node="0">Mulapeta Port (Srikakulam District):</b> Allocated <b data-path-to-node="10,1,0" data-index-in-node="47">₹440.52 crore</b> for 1,903.39 acres (including salt lands), with funding covering mandatory Rehabilitation and Resettlement (R&R) packages for affected families.</p></li><li><p data-path-to-node="10,2,0"><b data-path-to-node="10,2,0" data-index-in-node="0">Machilipatnam Port (Krishna District):</b> Sanctioned <b data-path-to-node="10,2,0" data-index-in-node="50">₹347 crore</b> to acquire 1,420.70 acres for its second phase.</p></li><li><p data-path-to-node="10,3,0"><b data-path-to-node="10,3,0" data-index-in-node="0">Nexus Integrated Logistics Park:</b> In a parallel clearance, the state allotted 63.01 acres at Chinna Eetivakam in Tirupati district via the Andhra Pradesh Maritime Board. The proposed logistics hub will draw an investment of <b data-path-to-node="10,3,0" data-index-in-node="223">₹255 crore</b> and generate approximately 1,000 regional jobs.</p></li></ul>
