ABU DHABI — AD Ports Group (ADX: ADPORTS), a global facilitator of integrated trade, transport, and logistics solutions, has signed a strategic partnership agreement with the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club (ADMSC). Under the terms of the agreement, AD Ports Group officially becomes the Exclusive Logistics Partner of Team Abu Dhabi F1H2O for the ongoing 2026 UIM F1H2O World Championship.
Agreement Signing and Operational Scope
The formal signing ceremony took place in Abu Dhabi, executed by Sultan Al Ghaithi, Group Chief Human Resources Officer at AD Ports Group, and Thani Al Qamzi, Executive Director of Team Abu Dhabi and Modern Sports at Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club. The event was attended by senior executives and technical delegates from both organizations.
Under the partnership, AD Ports Group will leverage its end-to-end global supply chain, freight forwarding, and specialized cargo handling infrastructure to manage the international transit of Team Abu Dhabi’s race fleet and technical equipment:
Fleet Transit & Cross-Border Logistics: Orchestrating the time-critical, multi-modal transport of high-value F1H2O catamaran race craft, spare engines, specialized tooling, and pit terminal infrastructure across grand prix locations in Europe, Central Asia, East Asia, and the Middle East.
Global Route Coverage: Supporting the team's multi-stage championship itinerary, which includes upcoming rounds such as the high-altitude Grand Prix of Kyrgyzstan at Lake Issyk-Kul, double-header fixtures in China (including Shanghai), the Grand Prix of Jeddah in Saudi Arabia, and the season finale in Sharjah.
Brand Integration: AD Ports Group’s corporate identity will feature prominently across Team Abu Dhabi’s race boats, crew racing apparel, official media backdrops, and international promotional campaigns throughout the 2026 season.
Strategic Alignment and Team Performance
Team Abu Dhabi enters the back half of the 2026 season with an elite three-boat driver lineup featuring Jonas Andersson, Erik Stark, and Rashed Al Qemzi—a trio that collectively holds eleven UIM F2 world titles. The alignment reinforces a broader trend of major state-backed trade entities anchoring global sports ventures, similar to AD Ports Group's long-term backing of international cycling and maritime racing events.
