Concurrently, the state has initiated major land acquisition protocols for the massive 3,500-acre <b data-path-to-node="5,2,0" data-index-in-node="272">Duggarajapatnam Mega Shipbuilding Cluster</b> and officially institutionalized the <b data-path-to-node="5,2,0" data-index-in-node="351">AP LINK</b> logistics corporation to optimize cross-border freight consolidation.</p></li></ul><h4 data-path-to-node="6"><b data-path-to-node="6" data-index-in-node="0">Bhogapuram International Commissioning and Aviation Expansion</b></h4><p data-path-to-node="7">In the aviation sector, the state's new commercial crown jewel <b data-path-to-node="7" data-index-in-node="63">Bhogapuram International Airport </b>is entering its final structural wrap-up phase, with scheduled commercial flight operations definitively set to kick off in July 2026.</p><p data-path-to-node="8">Beyond Bhogapuram, the investment pipeline outlines the blueprinting of nine additional greenfield regional airports, commanding an estimated capital expenditure of ₹6,416 crore. To tap into specialized regional tourism markets and provide alternative coastal transport, the state has finalized Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) for eight water aerodromes.</p><h4 data-path-to-node="9"><b data-path-to-node="9" data-index-in-node="0">Industrial Job Multiplying and Logistics Density</b></h4><p data-path-to-node="10">The state’s targeted regulatory framework has successfully cultivated a projected investment pipeline of ₹1 lakh crore within advanced industrial and high-tech assembly ecosystems, a surge projected to generate nearly 100,000 skilled employment opportunities across regional manufacturing hubs.</p><p data-path-to-node="11">On the surface logistics front, the state continues to expand its primary transit backbones. Andhra Pradesh’s National Highway network has successfully scaled to a total footprint of 8,360 km, positioning the state first nationwide in terms of national highway density relative to population.</p>
