to the Shipping Corporation of India (SCI), successfully berthed at Mumbai .The
vessel arrived carrying a vital consignment of crude oil, a critical resource
for meeting the nation’s energy requirements.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"> The journey of MT Desh
Garima underscores the high level of precision and resilience required in
modern maritime logistics, particularly when navigating geopolitically
sensitive corridors. The operation began with the vessel loading its critical
crude cargo at Das Island, after which it commenced a high-stakes voyage
through the Strait of Hormuz on April 18, 2026. Despite the challenges
associated with transiting such a sensitive region, the tanker successfully
reached the coast of Mumbai by April 22, 2026, and officially berthed on April
30, 2026. This timely arrival highlights the Shipping Corporation of India's
(SCI) ability to execute strategically important voyages with the exactness
