The new facility is located at the Blue Dart Aviation

landside connectivity, specifically designed to accelerate shipment transfers
and reduce transit times. By streamlining these operations, Blue Dart aims to
substantially enhance its overall service quality for customers.

The new Chennai facility marks a significant operational
shift as it becomes the official headquarters for Blue Dart Aviation, which
stands as India’s only dedicated commercial cargo airline. This strategic move
centralizes the airline's leadership and administrative functions within a
state-of-the-art terminal designed for high-volume logistics.

The hub supports an extensive operational scale, managing
a dedicated fleet of six Boeing 757-200 freighters. This fleet enables the
airline to handle a substantial nightly capacity of 500 tonnes of cargo.
Furthermore, the reach of this network is vast, with the airline servicing 73
flight sectors on a daily basis to ensure consistent connectivity across the
country.

equipped with Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS) approved
screening systems. The facility utilizes in-house X-ray machines and
specialized manpower to maintain rigorous safety standards.

Beyond logistics, the hub acts as a center for professional
development, housing training facilities approved by both the BCAS and
the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). These facilities are
staffed by dedicated instructors to provide specialized training for flight
crews, engineering teams, security personnel, and operations staff.
